New to forums.I will try to be as active as possible. internet here is still metered so i pay for every second I'm on the inter-web. and i do volunteer work as well. cheers! world.

have three objectives:
1. Convince my best friend that Lithium-ion 18650s used and new can besafe and effective when modulated.
i hope to gift him 50% of my powerwall as a homeOpening* gift!. A Gift a Energy.!?!?!!
2. To have a method to be energy sufficientoff solar and battery bank and really use adiesel Delco Gen-set as a stand-by backup reserve system! currently we spend $8,500 of diesel a year, just to power the house.
3. To inspire a generation of Haitians that renewable energy is not a myth, and can beaffordable.

so please, ideas help, continued inspiration. Please shed light on my ignorance and help me inspire more.

strart build to 10 kwh and the ultimate goal of 50 kwh power wall.
starting10 kwh systerm 14 in series. 14s80 or 14s100.

The series depends on equipment you go with. Often is 14s the preffered. The parallel number depends on what you got in terms of cells. I like n+1 approach where you build so you can do maintenance without shutting it down.

So in general minimum of 2 or even better 3 strings.
So you need minimum 2 to run and the +1 is extra. So basicalli if you got cells to 14s100p x3 then thats the go. Also note that this depends on BMS. A better BMS like Batrium is not recommended to go above 300-400Ah per pack/longmon. That could be 100-200p packs.
