There seems to be quite a few issues popping up with these... I have two of them and ended up writing my own script to control it so I don't have to use their software. The API endpoints of the device are not encrypted and can be used with get/post requests.
Mike,
I have 2 of the MCCs as you do except of course they are the"new" version. You have the ones with the 2 cell holders and I received the updated horrific spring cell holder version. After reworking the holders with better springs on the negative side and a revamped positive side contact the MCCs work actually pretty good. I believe a lot of the "weird" issues are due to improper cell contact. The software is on version 4.0.0.6 I believe( changes quickly ) and the firmware is at 3.6.7. Many of the previous issues have been resolved and once you get used to the interface it's not all that bad. Gone is the chip control option and once you adjust the correction factors the MCC, is quite consistent with the results. Like you I have oodles of spreadsheet comparisons of (you name them) charger/testers with pre voltage and post voltage tests of what the charger/tester reads and it actually is. The MCC's display voltage is on average 0.013 volts high. Martin Meuwese has been working really hard to get the softwares "undocumented features" documented if you know what I mean. At this point I kinda like it. That's my take so far.

FYI Battery Hookup has 4 of the old-style for sale if you don't feel like waiting for the kickstarter thing...

Looks like "Delivery in December" on the latest batch is slipping through our fingers
Sadly, you are correct. October to December, and now I guess maybe January.

As an up-date I just got notification that my first Megacell Charger shipped (I ordered the second one a few weeks after the first one).
So I may get one to play with before next year! Yay!

Well, on Dec 14th they notified USPS of having something to ship, but so far USPS hasn't gotten anything--or at least that is what USPS says.

Did it arrive yet? What was your order number?

Nope, and it looks like USPS hasn't even gotten it yet.
When I track it, I get:

Status Pre-Shipment

Merchant Order Receipt Notification, USPS Awaiting Item

This was number 631.
I ordered another one a few weeks later (this one was done September 9th).
I know that sometimes some shady ebay folks send notice that they are GOING to ship to USPS so that they generate a tracking number and it looks like you are going to get something, but then they take weeks to actually give it USPS. I hope that this is not what is going on here. With Christmas, it could just be that USPS is wayyy backed up and so the tracking is not reliable, which is what I think is going on here.

Oh, yeah, Killowatt Challenge, I like your channel!(y)

This is normal. For international shipments, USPS tracking numbers won't show anything until the item enters the country (typically).

Thanks, I figured something like that.
It's in there somewhere just got to find it.

The story of my life.
I put the last 5 18650 cells into the Opus tester this morning.
This afternoon my MegaCell chargers arrived.
Sigh
Oh, well, I now have them for the next project.
Now when is that Nanowelder coming?

Okay, finally ready to set up the Megacell Charger (I have my spare 160P pack that I want to discharge the cells down to about 3.6V for long term storage, then I just got 200 more LG M26 cells from e-bikes to process fora battery that I am going to build to run the fan system in my powerwall shed).
One think I noted it. The lugs on the + - cables that ship with the MCC, do not fit into the powersupply?? The power supply is 5V 20Amp. And yet you cannot get lugs that take the proper size wire into the slots? Why would you make a powersupply that won't accept the correct size wire lug?
It is not MCC that made the powersupply, I know, just whoever made it. That is so strange. I hope to get it powered up and start processing cells by tomorrow.
