    Battery Voltage drop

I don't know what the discharge specs are for the cells that I'm using but the battery pack is used in a electric lift with a motor, and I only discharge them with 1A per pack of four 18650 cells in parallel so about 250mA per cell in theory if the cells where equal.

    Battery Voltage drop

It drops instantly when i connect the load. Of-course the voltage will drop overtime, but the voltage of the pack drops instantly when I connect the load. The pack is a 7s4p prebuild pack from a machine, I don't have fancy equipment to test the pack in one go so I discharge each parallel block...

    Battery Voltage drop

Speaking about voltage drop, what is an acceptable voltage drop while discharging, I discharge my individual 18650 cells with 1A or 0,5A. I also have a battery pack that I am testing right now that had four 18650 cells in parallel, the pack drops from 4,0V to 3,7V when discharging with 1A. Seems...

Where to buy new pouch cells

Thanks for your answer. Yes i am in search of high capacity pouchcell that fit in a area of 140x70mm the cells i linked from hobby king just fit in it. but those are high discharge cells nothing wrong with high discharge. But I think there are cells with the same size but with higher capacity...

Where to buy new pouch cells

After some searching on Hobby king i found these cells: https://hobbyking.com/nl_nl/turnigy-5000mah-1s-20c-lipoly-single-cell.html 5000mah 20c not a very high capacity, I think these cells are meant for high discharge. I need high capacity not high discharge. Does someone else have an idea?

Where to buy new pouch cells

Yes, but maybe it is me i cant seem to find pouch cells on Nkon. Maybe there is another site that sells new pouch cells? @Solexx X Those are high amperage cells I am looking for high capacity. It hassen't necessarily be new cells but I want the highest amount of capacity per size. It needs...

Where to buy new pouch cells

Hello everyone, It has been a long time since i was active on this forum, I hope you all doing well. My power wall is slowly going along, but this post is nothing power wall related. I am really interested in portable servers. specially in servers in a gameboy shell. But i cant seem to find a...

    2S bms disaster

I have a old 7.2v ni-cad Makita drill that i have converted to 2s2p lithium ion 1860. The drill pulls 10 amps under full load off the pack, So if i want the over/under voltage protection i need a bms that can handle that amount of amps pulled trough it. with the previous bms i dint wired the...

    2S bms disaster

Thanks for all your answers. Does someone now if there are 2s bms for a reasonable price that do a good job at balancing and don'thave all of the bad things that minehad. Thanks in advance.

    2S bms disaster

Voltage! on the output terminals. i placed a resistor on the output terminals to see if the bms got active but no result.

    2S bms disaster

Thanks for your help, that is why i saw no difference after a month the cells where around 3,9V. But that doesn't explain why i couldn'tmeasure anything at the outputs of the bms, Can someone explain this. Thanks in advance.

    2S bms disaster

Hello everyone, I have a makita 7,2v drill with ni-cd batterys. All the batterys made for the drill are all dead. So i taught i could but a 2s2p 18650 pack in the drillso i did. There is enoughroom for a bms and a charger. So i ordered a bms from aliexpress: After i received it i wire it...

    Lux's Powerwall

Update: Time has flown by since the last update. I started to draw a flowchart for the powerwall in a online program called draw.io. In the shed i have mounted an wooden board where everything will be mounted: battery's BMS Charge controller. I contacted theperson at my local hackerspace that...
