    Yeah, had a nut that broke the inside plastic, so screw and nut is just turning freely. Screw is well inside the nut, so i will make a copper wedge to ensure good contact. This was just to verify the connection :)

    Hi, i actually remebered a little wrong: they are 3.88 and 3.98. (and 7.76 and 7.97 across the 2+2 leaf setup. So its within 0.1v

    Hi, I have sorted my nissan leaf cells, and are more or less ready to connect the parallell bus bar. I have batteries from 3 cars, where 2 of them are 3.98v now and the last 3.79v pr cell. Is this too high difference to connect? Should I charge up/drain to get them more equal? How much diff...

    Yes, of course. On AC side, the inverter will be secured with a 40a fuse @230v. (max 9200w, and be limited to this in the software) Im thinking to protect the wires, but also internally in the batteries between the series, see the picture in first post.

    The inverter is rated to 9100w for 5 min and 11000w for 3 sec. What size of fuse would be recommended? @ 3.5v (lower than my plan) it will be 11000w/49v=225a. 250a fuse ok? MRBf fuses good stuff? Easy to get hold of 250a of those fuses. NH2 fuse holders are 4 times the price of MRBF holder.

    Hi, Any progress on the sunny boy storage? It would be VERY much cheaper then using Sunny islands. We can through my company get hold of the sunny boy 2.5 for 600gbp ex vat vs 2300 ex vat for the sunny island. 2x sunnyboy would be more than enough for me :) I will be building a 73kwh battery...

    Good BMS choice for 48v Nissan Leaf powerwall

    No, 14s28P. Each complete battery consist of 48 modules that each has 2S2P setup.*2 + 2 modules extra gives 392 cells. Each cell is 3.8v/32ah. so 47.6kwh max rated capacity. Will try to include 49 more modules when i get hold of it, to reduce strain on batteries. I normally use about 40-50khw...

    Hi, I am building a (for now) 49kwh powerwall using 2 leaf batteries + 2 modules. I am using REC BMS + SMA Sunny Island 8.0H inverter. REC has Can-bus to the battery inverter so everything is integrated ::)
