That sounds fine then! I'll probably go ahead and buy the B18650CA cells at a good price.
I'll keep looking around for a few more days and if I find cheaper/better cells I'll post back.
Thank you for your help and guidance OffGridInTheCity
I just found this cell B18650CA which fits the specs and I can buy it locally.
Is it an issue that the nominal voltage is 3.6v instead of 3.7v? I'd guess that .3v wouldn't make a difference, but I'm not sure.
The cutoff voltage is also 2.7v vs. 3v of the original one.
Yes, sure. It's for a laptop battery pack. I couldn't measure the load. I will lock the CPU clock at its lowest when using only the battery. CPU is i5-4200M.
Probably you are right about the over-qualification of the original one. It seems to be a cheap cell.
I'd like to know what are the most...
I have a battery pack of six "LS LR1865SI DP1488 00008811" and I want to know what are the recommended replacements.
I gather that I need cells of a similar charging/discharging current and similar capacity.
Would the LGDAS31865 be an ok replacement? They are readily available in...
