    LGHE6RA6468

There are so many pouchcell formats out there because most manufactures get them custom made for their products. If they are from a laptop you can count on them being normal energy cells with max 2C discharge rating, maybe 1C. Have you tried searching for parts of the model number? Maybe you...

SE US26650FT cell & pack identification

Are you sure they are lifepo4? Im pretty sure i had some of those cells extracted from a Hilti Powertool battery and they were definitely li-ion. They could have been the VT version tough. I cant even find info on the FT version???

REPACK MAKITA 3.0aH WITH MORE CAPACITY

Vtc4 is. 10A cell and a great one too. It delivers the full 2000mah at 10A. Powertools have very high power consumption under peak load. You should always use power cells or you will kill your standard cells very fast.

    Testing cells EV battery module

yes true, at one stage i couldnt find the Wattsups anymore. They have great stuff. Granted the PWRcheck is expensive but its a great tool. I have blown up 2 so far from pluggin in +- wrong way and another just died. Id say all my fault as I use it quite hard though. Only thing I miss is an...

    26650 Nominal Capacity

Those cells are not Li-ion and therefore cannot be compared with other Li-ion or 18650 cells. The cells are LiFePo4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery. They have a nominal capacity of 2500mAh. Nominal cell voltage is 3.3V. Have a look at the Datasheet here...

    Recovering 'Fully'Discharged Tesla 100kWh Packs

Me too, plenty of packs that had no intrusion after quite a bit of time in the water. Pretty sure they say its waterproof, at one stage every seal gives up though...

    Recovering 'Fully'Discharged Tesla 100kWh Packs

You know to be honest i doubt they would have discharged them to 0V. Heres my thinking. The connectors on the out side of the pack are connectors after the bms. So putting a load onto there would only drain the pack the the cut off voltage, around 2.5v per cell, depending on the size of the...

    BMS on Tesla Powerwall

Just saw you wrote powerwall, my bad... no clue for the powerwall, im amazed there isnt a teardown of one of those yet... Completely custom development. Every battery module has its own 6s BMS for balancing and monitoring. This is so every module can be monitored even in case of catastrophic...

    Power 'brick' design

Easiest is to just parallel the cells together and then use the electronics from a powerbank. They are ususally fed from 1s system so that works. Make sure the electronics are from /for a li-ion pack and not li-po (cuts at 3.6v) If you want to run more devices or be able to power higher powered...
