never think that i can use a bms like this (never tried).
it's ok with 12v, i think i need something for stabilize 36v or 48v to contactors before kill the coil (they should work in 15% +/- volt range not more)
btw a stepdown can do the work
I'm looking for reliable 500A peak BMS, peak should be last around 3-5 min.
I'm not sure that Daly BMS can handle that (and it cost around 500€)
