I plan on binning the dented cells, but saving them for an outdoor project where my living isn't at risk :)
If there rust under the wrapper, I bin them for recycle. I found if rust from a bolt (external caused rust) hits the cell, then it causes the cell to rust a short time later.

Not seeing the obvious. Would like to see low amp draw and high amp draws. Running the cells from full charge to cuttoff.
I believe (without evidence) that mix of high draw cells with lower draw cells (various chemistries) is...
Are these the same chemistry?
I do find interesting these cells were never sold to the public. They were for pack design only and a limited run. At least that Is what I read at one point. I was hoping to see the reaction between cells with such low IR and high IR... make things obvious. :)
Too bad you don't live near me I have boxes of bad ones with all different levels of bad.
Funny for the IR / SOH those number match my database looking at the trends to determine a good IR for sorting.
The US18650GR series of cells I haven't had too many that were any good (>80%)

I remember using Orcad back in the day on a 386 cpu.
I always started with required locations of the most important items first.
Followed by placing the items by the most connections that could be straight (if that makes sense to you)...

Yes cell holder is Definitely worth it. I also bought the Premium cables and found them quite good.
AliExpress seller I bought mine from (recommended) is "on the simmer"
Based on the information I see, Fig 3 for example, SOC has no real effect on the Internal Resistance factor. SOC for 1kHz tester such as YR1035 or RC3563 is basically also irrelevant if done at room temperature.
I always measure my cells at room temperature.

What we need is an active balancer with tracking.
Most active balancers are dumb, but I wonder if the Heltec BMS with active balancing records balance info.
Technically this data is found in a BMS that records the voltage. You can see which cell packs that are always Lagging to full charge...
Looking for true Constant Current.
This device also has built in protections that the mosfet resistor alone don't. For me this is a safety issue.

Yes would need to check voltage for termination of the discharge. (I haven't found a CLD that cuts out at 3V for Lithium Ion etc.)
Would use the lower cutoff as a backup in-case of Arduino failure etc. It would be automatic built into the CLD.
