at this time I did not try the RS485, but I will, in future when I have more time for this (have to set up a linux server too)

It's an adjustable electronic load with up to 20A. Round about 45USD on Aliexpress. They also sell a version without the huge CPU-cooler on it for about half the prize, just add an old cooler which is laying around.
As I know so far there are three different types of grid tied inverters.
1. just inverter, no solar charge controller -> AC is only for output, the input comes from batteries, like the GTIL2 (I think you can choose between batterie and solar but not both at the same time)

I solder the fuse wires to the cells with a cheap solder-station from eBay. For me 370°C on the positive side and 390°C on the negative side seems to be perfect. At low temperatures about zero degrees at my garage where I am working you can add 5°C for soldering better
to solder the fusewire...

There are three requierements for the bms to start:
a minimum of 40V between the first balancing wire (b1) und the last (b+). This is the power supply for the bms itself
the big "B-" wire must be connected to the battery minus
a short 5v impulse between B- (+5V) and P- (-5V) to start...
Yesterday I tried to build a mounting system as HB uses. First idea: to find a manufacturer who can build this and uses the CAD files HB provides in his thread

the download link of the CAD files for the mounting-system seems to be down, maybe because of the new forum software update?
Does anybody can provide the "normal" 80p version CAD files? I would like to ask around in my region if someone can do this kind of work
I am using eBay since 2004 very often, it's my primary shopping adresse (don't like Amazon) and I noticed this change too.

You won't find a mentionable number of "1€-auctions" or of private...
just 2-wire meassuring, will not work. You have to look for 4-wire voltage meassuring.

checking the IR
cells above 70 mOhm were pushed a little bit out so after checking all the 150 cells I can sort out the bad ones
and after IR test the "statistic" is going even more bad.
So last week I phoned a few of my suppliers and luckily one of them had a early christmas present...
