    Location map

I'd really like to play around a little with that. Actually it would "only" be JSON to feed the google api with. First you need a GeoJSON-Data Set. Thats it for the markers. You just feed the api. The nice stuff, like the the Network Grid is actually just polylines...

    Location map

Hi there, it would be cool if we'd have something like this: https://globe.sonnenbatterie.de/ Its pretty cool to see the network if you zoom in. Would be nice to see the global diy powerwalls community network on a similar map. I mean, not as fancy (for now :-) ), sure, but it would just be...

    EC5 and XT150 Comparison

So i did a short comparison of the EC5 and the XT150 Plugs. The EC5 are nice and compact and seem to handle quite some Amps (as daromer mentioned 100 Amps). The space for soldering will exactly fit a 3x2,5 mm2 twisted busbar. The XT150, due to their larger diameter, are a lot stronger...

    EC5 and XT150 Comparison

Hi everyone, just got the XT150 Plugs :-) I must say they are pretty nice, and one can combine the single connectors into a double one. I'll post some pics shortly.

    EC5 and XT150 Comparison

@jdeadman Thanks a lot for the contribution! Got a little sick - so would have replied earlier. One thing though: The link doesn't seem to work/no videos on the channel. Did you run into problems concerning your bandwidth? Many thanks and best, Chris

    EC5 and XT150 Comparison

Just purchased some xt150 for testing. As they are separate, as daromer said, they might be a little more flexible concerning usage. I'll post a comparison when they arrive.

Many thanks for the replies! The video proposal sounds very interesting, but i won't ask for that ... :-)

    EC5 and XT150 Comparison

Yes, connecting it to the cable looks not as easy. You have a rather short way to put the cable inside the golden plug, about 8mm. But i guess if the plug is additionally attached to the pack it gets more stable. I think regarding the price and specs it can be an alternative.

    EC5 and XT150 Comparison

Hi! Short question: Has anyone already used these EC5 Plugs? They are mainly used in RC. They saythey are good for up to 120 Amps (Two Wires). In reality probably less, but that'll be ok. I thought that would be an alternative to the Anderson Connectors (checked the prices, they are...

    CRUD's Powerwall Project

So finished the first container grid today. 1. Created 4 stands per pack (80p) 2. removed edges on the top - beware of sharp edges inside the holder - they have to be removed other wise the cells protective skin will be demaged 3. After cleaning, the cells slide in easily and are fixed with a...

    Batrium Watchmon CANBus Protocol

Hi to all the Batrium users! I am still in the construction phase, having the Watchmon by my side and just wanted to ask if anyone has played with the canbus commands. Or to state it another way: Has anyone probably accessed the Watchmon CANBus to read live data from it? I am not talking about...

    CRUD's Powerwall Project

So after some rethinking i guess i am getting closer to what i think could work (for me). Using the off the shelf battery holders, i made a fixation that will go 4 times into each pack to give the grid some inner stabilization. The busbars will go on the plates of the holder...

How many bad/dead/weak cells in your packs?

Hii everyone! So after i got the feeling of thinking too much about my pack design which is not based on long term experience, i wanted to ask you,the community about your long-term experience witz faulty cells in your packs. I cannot get rid of the idea to construct a maintainable pack where...

    CRUD's Powerwall Project

;-) Yes, thats big :-) Just fixed that :-) Well i tried that but i decided to give it more space in advance. I also checked out your video in advance but i'd like to try out some configuration with ready slots (without breaking off the edges afterwards). I admit that i might not get too much...

    CRUD's Powerwall Project

So yesterday i tried a new battery pack configuration. I started this thread with the idea of a maintainable pack, but i realized that the effort to create all the features in mind would get time consuming and rather expensive due to the materials and processes. Finally i go with this...

    How to precharge 1s80p pack

I guess that would be a good choice. Theres is more to do with a Lab Power Supply. And the price is still reasonable (even if they have less power, usually - around 5-10 Apms, but won't get more with the charger, too). I also have a Graupner Switch-Mode Power Supply, but it starts at 5V, so...

    How to precharge 1s80p pack

Thanks a lot! I just stumbled over a huge range of iMax clones. Ranging from 20 to 80 bugs. I wonder if anyone tried to connect some Opus 3100 Chargers in parallel ;-) i would end up at 6 Amps. But actually i am not sure if that would be a bad idea :-) @SimonW thanks for the details again...

    How to precharge 1s80p pack

Thanks a lot for the info! I am about to check out the chargers both iMax and the iCharger. Sure the price might be an issue as i currently do not really have any other applications to use it for. Does the iMax has any settings to prevent overcharging/max voltage threshold regulation? Best...
