I just found this cell B18650CA which fits the specs and I can buy it locally.
Is it an issue that the nominal voltage is 3.6v instead of 3.7v? I'd guess that .3v wouldn't make a difference, but I'm not sure.
The cutoff voltage is also 2.7v vs. 3v of the original one.
Yes, sure. It's for a laptop battery pack. I couldn't measure the load. I will lock the CPU clock at its lowest when using only the battery. CPU is i5-4200M.
