Hey guys i have a question; I am building my second series of packs (18650) and i want to charge them to storage voltage of 3.6 volts i have a charger for 3.6 volt 20 amp for lifepo4 can i use this charger and safely charge my packs?

1) your config of your BMS is incorrect the low voltage disconnect is not working!! 2) How did you build your packs? did you sort it by milli amp hours? and IR? 3) buy a good BMS... do not buy cheap fake sh#t for a few dollars..

I have 4 different cels LG,Panasonic,Samsung 97%other 3% aresanyo cells but all from the same e-bike packs and it works very well all my cels are 25 mOhm ish and 90% sohso my pack are very healthy and lot of life left :D My use is from 4.1 to 3.6

hey wolf nice to see that the IR way works very well :heart: mine is also IR balanced/sorted but i have very small packs 60P my diff is 0.005/0.004 :Dand working very well for 3.5 months

a little update.. :Dthe pack isin balance now and the diff is now 0.003 so thats pretty nice to see :cool: i think i made a mistake in sorting i swaped 4 cells with 2000 mah for 2500+ mah and the pack is following the line of all the packs i think that pack whas low in cappacity and over time it...

Well unbalanced pack (other pack oke now) still gets unbalanced..and falls behind (over time, two 2 days) with the rest it is not mutch but it falls behind.. I charged the pack separate of the rest i had a 20 milli head start turned ballancing off now the pack is 5 millivolt behind so a...

there is some writing on the wrapper only you must have good eyes to see it. look at cell database and look for sanyo with green isolator ring

just what Korishansaid i am not a nooby :D. yes all my pack are well isolated and rest on nylon L brakets so nothing touches one and other and the skrews are well hidden. thanks guys for all the info and help!!

*update* I changed the cell andneighboring cells with the same capacity all the packs are in balance now and works how it is designed. and just in time :D last night we had now power

i have taken some photo's it look all good.

CID and fuse are intact :huh:i will take a photo. there were no debris from the hole in the sidewall.. AND NO I DID NOT RESET THE CID THAT IS THE ******** YOU COULD DO ,i am not that stupid :D

@not2bme Thanks for your explanation and yes i caught it in time pfff... i do not know how it happend, the cell was not dented or damaged in some way what i could see when i installed it. the strange thing is the voltage was 4.15 volt but its slowly goes down in voltage now

all the cells are matched in capacity and IR so that cant be the problem SD cells goes right to the recyle bin... The BMS i use ia a ANT BMS. All the other12packs stay perfecly in balance but i found the problem in one pack.... look at photo above :D
