    Hurricane coming...

Stay safe Korishan. Pressure down to 940 mB, that is a strong storm. Took a direct North jog, so it will pass quite a bit North of me, doesn't look like I will get much wind or even rain. Hopefully that jog will help you as well.

    Hurricane coming...

I am in the path, but after a lot of land, so no worries. Just put the system back on the grid to get the battery fully charged (and upped the limit before by-pass). Won't really be any sun tomorrow, but will stay on grid until if/when power drops. Best of luck to any folks around Cedar Key...

    HBPowerwall (Official)

I like the repair videos. I don't have any game consoles, but if I did and one went wrong, I would surely poke around and see what I could see thanks to all the great repair video on the tube!

Thanks for the up-date. The car looks great!! 30 days since you were in he shed. I bet it has been close to 6 months since I have been in my shed. I do monitor the Batrium everyday. Now I will have to go do an inspection this weekend. I am coming up on 3 years and everything still looks great.

Overkill it taking care of it, they are sending me a new bluetooth module. Very impressed.

Overkill solar BMS for a 4S 12V system

Not yet, but it is over a year old (not by a lot--I got it December 21), so I don't expect much. It acually could have died a few months ago, I hadn't checked the BMS for a few months. They don't sell the bluetooth module separately, but I don't know if that is the problem. Could be the unit...

Overkill solar BMS for a 4S 12V system

So, I got the Overkill Solar BMS for a 4S 12 volt lithium ion system I build. A little over a year later, the bluetooth doesn't work. Does the BMS still work? Who knows, without the bluetooth connectivity, no way to know. The bluetooth system was always iffy and wonky. So, I have to replace...

    Confusing fusewire

I found that wire brush, then clean with IPA pretty much took care of the rubber causing resistance when welding (which causes a POP, and scares the crap out of me).

    BYD lvl premium

For a Growatt inverter to work it has to "talk" to the battery? Not just know the voltage? Strange.

    hello

Welcome! You live in the right country for batteries.

    Hello

Good battery practices. Mmm, don't cross the streams, no wait, I mean wires!! Actually, practical battery practices, make about 2-3 times the capacity you think you will need! Batteries are like a bowl for salad, it looks big enough until you put the lettuce in. Lots of great folks here who more...

Got some batteries, figuring out what to do with them

No worries, pretty typical. Just keep at it, and remember it helps to have spares incase you need to take one pack out for maintenance.

Just hoping my Florida brethren are doing okay

In North Florida, Ian is mostly just rain and some wind. Got a ton of palm fronds to pick up, but saves me from having to get them out of the trees:cool: Interestingly, I haven't heard any thunder? Sure looks like thunderstorms on radar. I hope everyone else made it through okay! Power just...

Got some batteries, figuring out what to do with them

...excess batteries (I assume you mean cells)??? I have heard of this mythical creature, but was quite confident that it did not really exist! You must be planning on one gigantic powerwall if you are confident you have "excess" cells!:D Mine has 3,360 cells (that is how many AFTER processing)...

Out of the box thinking - Love it!

That is pretty cool. But I am a bit confused. He broke the front wheel going up a curb (understandable), so he modified the rear wheel and shows it going down curbs?? Cool design, but I don't think it did anything for the problem he shows at the start.
