I'm programming a warning alarm to alert when the voltage is too low.
Would 3.2V be the most commonly accepted low voltage reading before it needs to be recharged?
For example , if you had 4 battery packs
Then joined them all together with XT90's (4 X Female) to (1 X Male) output then to the load
Essentially a 4 to 1 adapter
Is the loss of any significance ?
After filtering and using all the best cells to complete my pack...
With the remaining cells, I plan on making separate batteries. These are lower capacity, higher IR cells.
If I keep the capacities the same, and increase the cell count, what are the downsides to hooking these up in parallel...
For example, if a cell tested below 3V . I would toss them in a separate pile. And focus on good cells.
After spending time separating good cells, I come back to find these cells below 3V test at low IR. They have discharged fine, and held charge fine with no significant self discharge.
Would...
Is it better to group cells by capacity
or group cells by internal resistance
Most cells range from 1800-2400 mah and with an IR between 40-60 ish , charge and discharge fine with no voltage drop after 2-3 weeks.
Was leaning towards making 2 packs .... IR of 40 to 50 and 50 to 60.
What settings should I use to do a discharge test with the B6.
I have the B6 , B6AC , and the Hitec X1
LiPo 3.7
Discharge to 3.0
0.5 amps
I've charged my cells to 4.2 and let them sit for a few days
