I used wattman and lowered the gpu voltage -10 and power is down to about 780w but mh fell to 25.5. I went back to stock settings and mh didnt increase at all. Still at 25.5 . Not sure whats going on.

Can someone give me a quick and dirty lesson in undervolting a gpu to reduce power consumption. Im running xfx Rx580 8g black edition. With 5 running Im drawing 1060w on a 1200 power supply. I know everyone gets the power draw reducedbut how? This is all new to me.

Ive got it figured out now. If I were home more often I wouldnt be so worried about it. Im taking a week off from building my new house to build a cabinet similar to a server cabinet to hold all these miners. Better safe than sorry.

I dont have enough 6pin ports on the power supply. Only 6 but have 12 Sata. There is so much conflicting information floating around Im not sure what to do. This will be running unattended for 2 weeks at a time so I want to be sure.

Where are you finding good deals on 4g cards? Everywhere I look 4g and 8g are only about $100 difference.

My cells are already charged. They are usually discharging within 10 minutes of putting them in the chargers. I don't let them charge again fully to 4.2v I pull them out at about 3.8v. It will probably be more than a year before they will be put to use and I've heard it's not good to leave them...

I put a small fan on my chargers to keep air moving and they don't warm up as much. It keep the opus charger from cycling on and off and keeps a constant 1a draw. They don't get hot without it but it seems the opus is sensitive to heat so at slightly warm to the touch it will drop the discharge...
