For those of you that are stuck in NMC world and cannot mix with the LFPs, this might be a good deal for you. I already went to another solution so I'm kinda bummed this came up. I have way too many to throw in another set in the mix. So thought I'd pass this along....

It's a 14S LG Chem 51.8V 189Ah 9.78kWh ESS Battery Module that's supposedly new. I can't think of anything else that will give you 40kwh for $2000.

What a great deal and I'm a little bit tempted but... my current 18650 powerwall is taking up all the room and working well. Sigh...

$500 + $350 = $850
Cost per kWh = $87/kWh

If you go the full pallet size for that shipping cost, then:
$500 * 12 = $6000 + $350 = $6350
Cost per kWh = $55/kWh

Never go only by the price of the listing, always include the cost of shipping for the cost/kWh. Altho, if you can get them locally without shipping, that'd be awesome!!

However, all things considered, that's still a pretty good deal overall. Would be nice to know some others who might be able to share in the cost to help save on the shipping.

Fwiw, I have 310AH cells, or 16kWh. Cost about $900 all in. LFP, though, so not quite as energy dense. But for stationary applications, space isn't much of a constraint
