I have been looking to read the cycles from a cell directly just like a BMS does.

I have tried to disassemble the code in a few BMSs and found what I believe is the structure, but I cannot find the location for the cycles.

The engineers seem to have made an effort to obfuscate the structures, I'm guessing so no code can update these values !!!

Here is an interesting article -> https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2666546821000355

But, this is limited to the basics.

Anyone been down this road ?

Depends on which BMS this is. If it has a Texas Instruments (TI) chip, there's datasheets on the signals that can be read.

More information is needed about the BMS itself.

Unless I'm missing something.
