Hello everyone,

I try setting up a system with SimpBMS and Tesla slaves. Everything works fine but I'm not sure if the balancing works because the delta voltage rises and does not shrik...
Maybe someone can check my settings, so I can be sure I did not overlook something.

i think U need first connect all the modules in paralleled (24h) and after that all modules come with the same values. after that make the series and connect again the simp .... u will see all change :)

yes of course that works, but I thought SimpBMS is able to balance the cells?

Please understand the concept and working of the SIMPbms,
it uses the slave-boards of the Tesla module, designed by Tesla... to balance
check the board on the module, and have a good look at the smd resistors that are supposed to burn off the energy to balance
then perhaps take a look at the flex cable going to the cell's,
how many amps could these do .., max 20mA to maybe 100mA (Patalhetas)

Perhaps you should ask your selves why there's this big a difference between cells.
could there be any other problems, like coolant spill??, that would mean you have corrosion, and leaking cells.
was the pack from different donor cars...??

In my experience "good" Tesla modules show a Delta V of ~4-6 mV
here's an example of "ucking up" by pulling hard to balance fast with a drop-in cell-tab board

So nothing wrong with your Simpbms, but your expectations & understanding how it works
Please read the manual.

oh, and perhaps check the battery settings
6: 10mV
7: not 100A, but hopefully something like 225Ahr (factory new =~242Ahr)
0: 8
a:12
0+a will show a ~48V battery, voltage span between 38.4Vdc to 50.4Vdc
check if correct voltages are displayed
depending on your inverter of choice specs, do check the voltage span of the inverter.
most inverters will not go below 43Vdc

best regards, Carel

...but something is not correct, check the temp value, -89C ??

wow, missed that, good job!!
corrupted firmware, re-flash, corroded slaveboards/single board due to coolant spill/water/moisture ingress
yes, do a physical inspection
