Batrium and Australian smoke detectors

I was thinking of using the output trigger of a couple of smoke alarms to trigger critical faults on my Batrium. Smoke = bad :)

Does anyone have any info on the outputs of Australian smoke detectors - is there a standard or is it a free for all dictated by each manufacturer?

has anyone done this or is there an alternative?

I googled for "smoke detector with alarm contacts" & there where lots, seem more expensive than the regular ones though..
Might also be called "smoke detector 4 wire"
eg https://csd.com.au/products/HF-2012-24AUSI
Should find one with relay contact output - "alarm output"?
These should be floating contacts, eg not related to ground, etc

I've actually done something a little different to detect the smoke detector - I have used an Arduino and detected a loud sound via microphone, and put the mic near the smoke detector so that I can trigger based on smoke detector alarm. This might false trigger if you have a lot of loud noises, but this was enough for me without having to go to an expensive detector with outputs.
