May have been answered somewhere else, but is it possible to install the Batrium toolkit software and monitor remotely from and Android cell phone or tablet?

Replaced my 3.79 volt pack, found a lot of bad cells. New pack started at 4.11, and still doing well. Found also that the solder connections on the negative busbar came off super easy. Have been roughing up the busbar with a file before soldering for some time now, and this appears to have solved that problem.

Now to get some other things in my house onto my battery system...waiting on my "sparky" to get back from vacation.

Also, have modded a PC power supply to have only a 12 volt output, and waiting on my buck power supply to arrive later this week, and will use this to charge up packs on my "bench", ie kitchen table.

Thanks for all the help I have received here. You guys are awesome.

You can get a low powered laptop, eg i3 or less with 4G RAM & run the Batrium s/w on that.
If you then install eg Tight VNC server, you can install a VNC client on other devices to view & control the Batriums/w.

Find one with the smallestpower supply brick you can - it's good indication of low power use.
Set the laptop to "do nothing when you shut the lid" + "never shut down when plugged in".

Other good devices are mini PC's from eg Qotom (alibaba).

I'm powering a "re-purposed" olderlaptop direct from my ~48V system(16P LiFePo4)batteries via an ebay buck DC-DC downconverter set to 20V output.

Hi all,

In the meantime, I installed the Toolkit software on a Win7 virtual machine that runs 24/7. I connect to it using Android/iOS version of Microsoft's Remote Desktop Connection. This let's me bring my tablet next to my system and display/control it from there. You can zoom and move the screen around or maximize the Toolkit app for full coverage. It's not perfect due to Microsoft's implementation of the mouse but it works for now. A dedicated VM is not needed, you can run it on your PC and connect to it with Remote Desktop.

Regards,
JR
