Like every Australian interested in powering our homes with solar, battery storage bigger enough and affordable enoughhas always been the greatest hurdle.

Battery Hookup in the US currently has some great deals but airfreight isn't possible, I was wondering if any Australians and New Zealanders would be interested in being involved in a group buy where we could share a shipping container.

I'm happy enough to chase down the shipping costs and enquire about customs requirements.

Please let me know what you want and the quantity so we can try to negotiate a discount that could potentially pay for the shipping and lower the battery price as well, tell everyone you know the more we buy the cheaper it will be

I don't want to handle your money so the best practice would be to pay battery hookup directly if anyone knows of service let me know.

thanks

Already on it :)

Hi Guys,

I'd prefer to import to Melbourne, Aus and on sell than be involved in a group buy.

But before purchasing I'd like to know if there's many people in Aus who would want to buy them?
What do you think G1 and G2 500WH Nissan leaf modules are worth here in Aus? What would you pay for them?

Hi Paul,

I'm Adam, always looking for more cells. As money and time frameis the biggest factor. Idon't know if I can put enough towards it to allow me to jump on board. But I'm willing to see what i can do.

I'm in Canada and have had really good results with buying modem packs from Battery Hookup. I think you have a good idea to buy them by the container load. I normally just cross the local bridge to pick them up in the US so I understand your pain in the ass to get them to Auz. The cells that they sell are almost all testing at full capacity in the modem packs so if you are able to get a large quantity of the same cells it would make the battery building process easier. Good luck with your projects fellas!
Cheers
Pete

Interested too, I'd be willing to drive anywhere in Australia for pickup, could drop off orders too for 2x petrol price.

I have a excess supply of Sony VTC2 (1600mAh), Samsung 20Q (2000mAh) and even too many Samsung 25R (2500mAh) cells I think. Even have a limited number of VTC6 (3125mAh) cells.. in original power tool packs (de-shelled).

any takers?

What's the price, location and quantity? I'm very keen

no idea? never sold them.. well I have sold some VTC6 before... oof... I think I sold those for $10ea in just a deshelled state.

I have a but tonne of 1600mAh packs. maybe 50 or so x12 packs? Otherwise 25R packs i'm sitting on maybe 80 or so...

Araknid: Make a new thread if you plan on selling those cells. Don't hijack this one, plz.
