better bins for organizing and storage during harvesting

I'llbe processing a couplethousand of harvested 18650 cells. I started using the AkroBins to sort and store cells during processing (the 11 x 5 x 5 version, photo attached),but they only hold about 80 cells per bin and waste a lot of space if I want to store them safely. Any recommendation on a bin, systemor equivalent that holds at least 100 cells safely, sturdy, doesn't waste space and is easy to put or grab cells in and out of from?

Cells aren't fully cleaned at this point in the process so theywill likely have small leftovers from originalwelding and other gunk.

Im thinking on numbered cells grouped with a rubber band... in groups of 10... so you can easly find them whne selecting the cell for a pack

I just sort in 100mAh bins
Easy and prooven to work.

Means that you dont use repackr :)?
CG.

No i dont. I dont see the use for it. The testers used Arent accurate enough to sort in 1mAh ranges. 100 and big enough packs and the statistical world Will handle it for you. My packs are even enough compare to other using repackr. And the amount of time saved makes it all worth it.

Indeed, e.g. the Opus is likely around 5% so 150mAh for 3Ah cells. Also there is variation due to the Opus PWM simulated CC/CV vs. pure CC/CV, which may account for another 5% variation. So the results are really just ballpark figures.

Otoh, the SkyRC MC3000 should be much better since it uses more precise components and has better factory (or user) calibration.

Other analyzing chargers are somewhere between these extremes.

New Dell laptop shipping boxes fit 18650 perfect. And even have the UN38.4 or whatever logo on it :)

The small boxes fit 300 cells, the larger up to 450!
