BMW 25kw i3 battery, SimpBMS, Sunsynk 5kw inverter and 6.3kw solar build

Also, i'd highly rate the sunsynk - one reason is that its silent.
Having used victron before on RVs and boats they can be noisy and carry a premium for a reliability that does not always materialise.
However the sunsynk is not as integrated as the victron devices with the cerberus brain. All controls are handled through solar assistant or the front panel.
I will have to work out how to control it over modbus with home assistant when we change to proper time of use tariffs in the future, but for now as simple overnight very cheap rate charge is easily achieved.

The Deye/Sunsynk inverters aren't silent, but rather very quiet.
Many models are made to be passively cooled only. My unit is such a passively cooled one and only has one fan inside the unit that spins up when the inverter gets warm, but its barely audible as its inside with no ventilation holes. However the units coil whine is well audible.

Thanks for feedback. I really like the comment about multiple thinner cables vs a single very thick. The large fuses can be hard to come buy, and the cables too becomes a bit more troublesome to source when very thick. Also needed a special tool to cut them. All this can be avoided with multiple cables. One could argue that it is better that a poor cable leads to no connection rather than maybe only 2 out of 3 are in working order. That will add 50% extra load to the remaining.
I will find time in the weekend to compare settings, but im comfortable with my current settings, so not super likely i will change it much.
And the Victrons are to be honest VERY noisy. Do not put them within approx 5m including one outer brick wall. At 5 m it is clearly audible due to the fan running fairly fast and noisy.
I'm in denmark and there is a government approved list and the victron is one of the few that this community uses, so im locked pretty hard on that part.
Growatt, SMA, Huawei and a few others are on the list, but they dont seem to fall into the taste of early adopters and i go in their trail to ensure a fairly safe solution.

Worst case, replace the fans of the victron unit with some fans from Noctua. Its a difference like night and day.

Worth a try. Would you know what model fits ? (havenøt looked inside the Vitron for about a year.

Nope, you'll have to take a look yourself.
My MPP Solar MPI 5.5k had 1x 92mm and 2x 80mm fans.

Hi. Can I ask which charging settings you are using? Absoption voltage, float voltage etc...
