I have 7 Tesla model S modules that are not all in one pack and need to extend the cables. If grey is not used do I only need 4 core and what size is needed. I understand the cores are too small for the bms connections. Using simp bms

Hi,
did you recycle the original cable??,
it should not be difficult,
just make something from 2x 4 matching lenghts of 1mm2 multi strand wire,
twist TX&RX, use nice 4 pole female/male connectors, and you're done

I you are about to make your own, perhaps follow instructions as per manual, page 13
and more or less do the same, but you face quite a bit of work, crimping the pins, etc
all Molex mini-fit part numbers can be found in manual, use a Engineer PA-09 to crimp the pins

Thank you, Im not sure what size the existing cables are so was looking for 0.5mm, if I use 1mm I can buy the colours I need and make up the 2 x 4 wires. I have the existing loom but need to cut and extend it in two places. I have superseal 10 way plugs and sockets and 5 way.
