My recycler friend just sent me an email to see if there is any interest in these cells.
I know nothing about the condition but am willing to pick them up run them through
capacity tests and see if they are any good.
Shipping would be problematic so local pickup would be a must. Portland ,Maine area.
Let me know

Mmmmmm LiFeP04.
I'd be wanting those down here in Oz!
Pic looks like 96 cells?
That'd be 6 strings of 16 for 48V, nice :)

Just mind the stress on the terminals, don't look the best supported there.

Alright I have picked them up and am starting to test them. Unfortunately they are CA40's which makes the 40Ah cells not very much yank.
I tested the IR and they run in the 0.5xxmΩ range with voltages at ≈3..28 of the 4 I pulled so far.
The testing procedure is a charge to manufacturer max voltage of 3.65 at 10A, charge cutoff at 100mA and discharge to 2.5V at 10A with a 1A cutoff.
The first battery so far with those parameters produced a result of 28.802Ah 72% SOH not stellar.
We will see what others will bring.

They look like good condition for not being bloated , possible - 5-8 kw worth for a starter set of batteries for exploration and experience.
They might not last long, but some fun for a low cost.
