Hi folks,
I got myself a High Voltage battery from a UK 2016 Nissan Leaf (gen 1 - part 295B04NF0A) to use along with the Battery Emulator from @Dala and a Solax X1 inverter...

My problem is that the Disconnect Plug supplied by the Vendor is damaged - I think the person breaking the car down didn't realise how to take it off properly and just ripped it off.

I think that this is how it's supposed to look (I think);

Mine doesn't have the Bus bar - it only has the two small pins on the right.

can someone take a picture of theirs, looking into the connector so that I can confirm that this is how this connector looks?

A replacement one is an expensive punt, so I am thinking if the missing part is as simple as a bit of bus bar, I can fabricate one, but if there's more to it then I will need to get the real part.

Yes there should be a large piece that joins the two sides. I strongly suggest buying a new service disconnect switch, they can be found used on Ebay.

Thanks for the reply Dala - I had tried searching, and can't find any on the UK ebay site - there are some on the global ebay.com site, but the USA vendors won't ship to the UK, so I am kinda stuck.

I can get the switch direct from Nissan in the UK, but they want over £300 for it and it seems to be on a long, long delivery time (2-3 months)... I have a request out to the various breaker yard services for one, so I may get lucky.

I am safety minded enough that jury rigging something explicitly called a "safety disconnect" makes me stop and think twice ;)

I have two sitting on my desk! :)

PM and I'll give you a good deal!

or... as long as the plastic on the plug you have is whole, just cut some flat 2mm copper sheet (5cm x 4cm) and fit it in. I'll give you the dimensions if you want to go that route.
