Comme je suis sur des modèles de cellules 18650.
Mes débuts sur l'utilisation des cellules lithium 18650, un achat d'une perceuse visseuse chez Leroy Merlin à pris bradé en vieille technologie pour la transformer en lithium.A l'époque pas encore réalisé avec le tranformateur de mon vieux microonde une soudeuse par points, j'avais donc acheté sur AliExpress des cellules lithium avec des lames présoudées de 1 500 mAh.
Je n'ai pas vérifié à l'époque car je n'avais pas encore le matériel la véritable capacité de ces cellules mais à petits prix souvent petites qualités...
Cette visseuse perceuse fonctionne bien depuis mais les cellules en plus commandées sont elles HS.
Je mets des photos de ces cellules sans marque.

I consult the database often, and for the first time did not find my newly salvaged cells, so here's my first contribution

They were salvaged from a 350W scooter (Gyrocopter Flash 3.0) that was 2 years old, and were in a 10S3P configuration.

Model is CHY18650/2500mAh, and I could not find the brand.

Wrap color is bright orange, with white ring.

The capacity seemed correct as every working cells tested over 2500mAh, some up to 2700mAh.
The max current could reach about 10A by load testing (and some... accident, stated below).

The battery was now defective, with 6 bad cells (the first and the last PCMs of the module). The problem was heavy oxidation of the cells, caused by the wraps being dried and crumbled off the cells o_o

Probably the wrapping is not made to handle the temperature these cells can get in high power confined application... The wrap is fragile and chipping on most of them and several rings were displaced. It was quite dangerous to recover them as moving them slightly could cause the nickel strips to touch both (now) exposed poles and melt from the high short circuit current.

I re-wraped them and use them to rebuild power tools batteries, and are very good at that so, a good recovery overall!

They seems to be rare as It's the first time I see them, and I salvage quite a bit of batteries, and the only place I could find them on this website:

I personally would not re use rusty cells. Maybe that is just me.

Agreed with Paulie. If there is any rust on the cell, toss them. They are compromised. Not worth the safety hazard. Once the nickel coating is exposed, the iron shell will start to deteriorate further without notice until electrolyte starts to leak and/or becomes a firecracker

Do not worry, I disposed of the rusty ones, just kept the clean ones
Still got about 18 good cells.

Aujourd'hui récupération d'une batterie d'un ordinateur portable Asus. Celle-ci est donnée pour 11,1 V - 5200mAh et 58 Wh
J'ai du mal à comprendre les 5200 mAh avec un design 2S2P de 6 cellules de 2000 mAh qui donne 4 Ah. En utilisant le générateur du pack on obtient 43,2 Wh et même en prenant 3,7 V de tension nominale on obtient seulement 44,4 Wh.
Cellule Wintonic 2000 mAh de 2018.
Un jeu de 2 cellules ne sont qu'à 1,6 V, on verra si on peut les récupérer, les 4 autres entre 3,15 et 3,30 V. Couleur violette (mais je suis Delatonien) et anneau noir.

Pour la couleur basée sur la base de données, je dirais plutôt le violet comme couleur.

Lithium 18650 cell 5S 2P configuration for 18 V. Apple green cell color, white ring and marked VANON FP a priori 2.5 Ah. Of course some HS, 11 still good between 1938 and 2190 mAh. The BMS in very poor condition, the battery having taken on moisture.

Today dismantling of two Chinese Lenoge brand batteries. We find this brand on laptop batteries but for portable tools?
Cells given for 3,000 mAh. Everything is done with minimal DIY savings... On the two batteries, two cells are out of order. The BMS should not do any balancing because there are no wires for it. See the photos.

Today dismantling a small broken Parkside screwdriver.
2 Parkside brand 18650 cells as usual. These are
1,300 mAh and they are HS. But the engine checked is also out of order, a small engine that is difficult to repair because it cannot be dismantled and is of light quality but consistent with the price. See photos.

I found 42 of these cells in a EGO 6ah pack. Same form factor EGO packs have been seen with Samsung INR18650-25R. I filled ou the table in the same format as the Cell database if that helps. Cheers!
