The Charger motor is rated at only 375 watts. That really won't carry you up a hill without pedaling. Even my 1,000 watt Bafang mid-drive (on 52 volts) struggles on steep hills in high gear.
Front freewheel? I don't get it? A freewheel is the cluster of gears in the rear of a bike also called a cassette in slightly different form. The Charger is supposed to have pedaling independent of the motor drive. Are the rear sprockets bolted together? I thought there is supposed to be a clutch to separate the two chains in the rear.
