Hi all. I understand this may not be the best forum for this topic, so if you can suggest one, I'll take a look.
I am considering doing an EV conversion on my old commercial van. I have been offered support for using a BYD Atto 3 kit, along with a custom ECU. Unfortunately, the battery is just too wide at 1,000mm of the shell, plus the mounting ring.
I have the following available...
Width - 750mm between the chassis plus about 80mm for the mounting ring below
Length - 2,000 plus mounting ring (less would be better)
Height - 80mm inside the chassis to the floor, and up to 90mm below (less would be better) to keep a reasonable ground clearance
Looking for a popular FWD car available economically at salvage auctions. Probably a BYD to take advantage of available support.
