Converting a miniature excavator to battery power

I was thinking about using leaf cells, but I've found that member batterypower in Northampton still has some of the 7s28p LG Chem packs available, already in aluminium crates. These look like they represent a good /kWh ratio...

On a machine like this you also do want some weight in most cases so heavier packs is not generally a problem

Yes, it could use a little more weight... Not really lead acid weight though

Was the battery configuration enough?
If so, what autonomy does it have?
