Okay folks, some good news, we have now tagged version 10.8.0 of the Battery-Emulator 🥳 This release focuses on low-level performance improvements. It replaces the MCP2515 CAN library with a more SPI efficient version coded by the wizard @jonny5532 🧙‍♂️ The release also updates the ESP32 backbone, along with several smaller performannce improvements to avoid TASK_OVERRUN events, and high RAM usage.Checkout the full release notes on Github! So incredibly nice to work with you all on this release! Massive thanks to all that made this happen! https://github.com/dalathegreat/Battery-Emulator/releases/tag/v10.8.0

This thread is not for troubleshooting/dev. Make Github issue!
Ok, but I quote what you stated above:

Yes we do not read cellvoltages properly for Pylon yet. Would love to get a CAN log back and I can improve it.

I don't see any mention of "where" you would like the log posted, so did the obvious, posted here.
Now that I know where, I will do as you ask. :)

The CAN log shows that when we request cellvoltages, there is no reply from the battery. So this specific Pylon battery does not support cellvoltage sending.

Sorry it is really messy to handle discussions like this on my thread. Github is the place to be.

Good news everyone! There is now a quite large update available for Battery-Emulator, say hello to v10.10.1 There are this time three new first time contributors, along with a quite large number of bugs fixes. This has been discussed on the Discord. Sungrow is VERY slow to start. We have a pull request with a fix here you can apply: https://github.com/dalathegreat/Battery-Emulator/pull/2466

We are starting to become mainstream. This is a bit of a tricky spot to be in, since with a very large userbase, comes a very large responsibility. Luckily rockstar-developer nagyrobi has stepped up, and provided a significant amount of cybersecurity improvements. That is not all that is new for this release, there is so much going on that we decided to bump up the MAJOR version number to 11. Massive thanks to nagyrobi, jonny5532 & hpetersen for the improvements.

Tesla users especially will want to update to this version, to get the new DTC reading. Hopefully this will pave the way for further reverse engineering of the CAN sending, to get the battery into a happier state of mind.

There has been some amazing project this week on the BE side, notably;
  • Volkswagen MEB collision clear, no longer needing ODIS tool!
  • Volkswagen MQB 2024+ battery support added!
  • BYD vehicle isolation testing disabling now supported!
+Way more like new MG battery packs now supported. Checkout the full release notes on Github, this is INSANE that it was just 5 days ago that we tagged a new version, and now we already have a TON of cool new components supported and new features.
