Hello.

I will try to describe the story of the DIY Austrian Powerwall.
Many things are learned out of this Forum and from the Facebook Group of Peter.

First, the design.

Go with Laptop batteries or AGM orElectric Car batteries (Tesla, Toyota ...)?
- Laptop Batteries, as in Europeit'shard tofindPrius / Tesla batteries.

The Voltage question: 48Volt, 48Volt or 48Volt? (Only if you have already Equipment for 24/12V do lower Voltage)
-Many peoplegoing with lower voltagehatesthe decission later. (thick cables, high Amps ...)

The Pack size (mAh / kWh)
- First step aprox.10kWh in 14S / -relates to the found cells- P

Housing
- 2U 19 inch Server case's in a Serverrack.

Then thebuild is split up in 4 stories.

1. Find cells
2. extract - Charge - discharge - storage the cells
3. Find your packsize, the style you will do it(lots of designs in the forum and the group)andbuild the packs.
4. The things around the packs. (Inverter, charger, brakers, housing, .....)
