Hi, My name is Christopher. I'm interested in playing around with a D.I.Y. Powerwall. I'm amazed at how many people have figured out this whole thing, and with relative safety at that!

I studied some EE before finishing out in pure Math, albeit almost 20 years ago :)

I totally lack understanding of modern practical knowledge, however: I don't know what voltmeter, chargers, power supplies, load testers, oscilloscopes, etc. that are good or that people generally like. So if anyone would throw some suggestions my way, I would really appreciate it!

Are there fully programmable chargers that people use? What about load testers to get a full map of the discharge curve for cells? I have access to lots of arbitrary cells over time, but would like to well match the cells in my own powerwall build.

Thanks, this forum appears pretty awesome!

A member named @Wolf has a large database of info - see the 4th post on this recent thread -https://secondlifestorage.com/showthread.php?tid=9051- for some of his links. You might find this interesting.

And welcome!
