Electric Kid four wheeler battery

So the packs have came in . Have them took apart . How are you guys taking them apart without sparking up the world. I would hate to know i had 1000 plus to process. The board being in the middle is very agrivating . Mine wasnt on the side. Orderd a solderless kit . I have to say great concept but i wont be getting any more . I probably pressed them in a bit to much a lot of them broke. The ones with the heat shrink seemed to be to big.

Do have to say the packs seem to be nice . They look a bit different though mine came with the cells completely heat shrink wrapped . Bought 5 more .and plan to use some of them for a ebike . 36volt . Plug and play. Seems a lot easier with less time consuming too for that .

flush cut snippers and go snip snip. leave the tabs on the cells and just solder to the tabs.

Will remember that next time i get more cells . I used regular wire cutters like i do for coax at peoples houses . Good idea though. I pulled mine completely off. Still had traces of that mess.

great thread!
I will keep watching this one because this week I will make a battery for my nephew too and I will create a thread to show it :)

I will use the cheap black ones from ebay and I think they will work fine :D
btw you have idea off the autonomy you will get with the new LiIon battery?

I will be 3d printing my next ones. These i got to easy change out . But Looks like to change 1 cell . I would have to still take apart the entire thing nearly. I do like the fact they are red and blue though . No idea of how much longer i will get with that one . Hopefully near double . Being the stock battery is 12v 12 ah. And 1 pack is 36v 4.4 i have almost pack and half i believe .
