Esperyd?s Raspberry PI project

Daromer, is there any control built in, so Batrium can control the PIP? I thinking of Batrium change PIP settings, to priotize utility, if a cell og SOC is low?

If not, is in the plans?

Claus

With the grafana yes you could potentially controll your pip. But going between Utility and battery should be done via the PIP in first hand!
The Batrium controll parts are only as a last resort like 1 cell being low and or the SOC itself. (Total battery voltage first)

With that said its possible and I know that Jaron have worked on integrating the Watchmon directly to the PIP.. Not sure of current status.
Personally i will be using my Raspberry to controll those things via MQTT. But i will not be releasing andy "send" commands as such in this weeks planned release because i have not had time to test it. But with the new software anyone can do it themself with some knowledge in the protocoll and NodeJs

I think i would prefer to have Watchmon to have the main control of the PIPs output between SBU and utillity, and have a slitghly lower setting on the PIP as a backup. The PIP will always be able to override the setting from Watchmon to change to utility to save the batteries, if something gets weird.

Do you nice system support paralelled PIPs?

If you paralell the pips you still only controll 1 of them.

I'll definitely test this hopefully early next week. Daniel if you need access to test anything let me know

Sure Peter. I want to know if you can set both inverters from 1 cable but i guess thats is the case. I dont see how you otherwise could run them in paralell unless the master controlls the slave :) When your there Peter just ping me and we take a look.

More work done. We are getting closer to a proper version!

pip-3024 arrived today.
Hope to be able to install it soon. Still waiting for breaker and cable to arrive.
Will try to get it working.
Any ETA for V7?

Eta 4th or 5th of Nov. Live stream to be anounced in 2-3 days about it :)

tocan: If you want to send its fine but we need to arrange to send back if so too. I currently dont have much time at all so I cannot promise if thats something i can do in nearest weeks or even this year :(

When the V7 is released there is no plan to release more of the isos as such but have open source stuff and then for those not knowing how to upgrade an easy "upgrade" script option that they can trigger.

@Daniel i will send you a private message in this topic. Until 2.11.17 i will get the smaller GTIL with Wifi so i can send you the Version 45-90V for developement with 1000W in total. I hope also to get the protokol until this time :)

This mail i did receive from the engeneer today -

Linda?
Please supply the protocol in English

For EPever should be more easy and i will explain this to you in pm because there is an idea conquest for boats until 31 of september by a yachting magazine... it have no need to beginn it until this day but some work have to been done. As far i understand is that no git have to exist for this contest.

I have set up an epever for another user and that one is easy. there is plenty of scripts available already for that. I used a PHP hack for him but you need to compile your own modules. I might include that in the Raspberry if i get time

I love it to be here Collin... I saw yours video from yesterday night. Yes it's yours... I did have no chance after this fast speed video to follow and did choose it a little bit different. Daniel I have some questions also to Collins implementation and it looks to me it's better here than to do it just with mail and Collins allone.

Down the video you find the git in the description. I will write in my blog also the method with cable not only the WiFi with ESP8266.
