I follow a log cabin build channel and they had some hail over the weekend. Look at this - hit 3 of 4 panels....

- solar panel damage above shown starting at 1:47. His metal roof also sustained significant damage - starts at 0:49.
Look how hard/deep the hail penetrated, look at the DENT in the panel...
Don't have this kind of hail in my area - thank goodness!
Has anyone had panels destroyed by hail? He commented that his neighbor's panels are mounted at a significantly steeper angle and survived.
