So all the hard work done
Everything connected and double lilly as advised
No CT clamp but bought sdm230 and will be fastening that up via a esp lora board bought from eBay(doing this Wednesday)(485)
Set the inverter mode to scheduled instead
My house uses 670w 99% of the time so all good
There enough solar to power the house from 9 till 5 most days in summer in winter be battery most time I expect

The schedule is force charge between 12 and 5.30am then force dis charge 670w until midnight

The schedule to use the cheap octopus energy works and battery always full after charging ,empties a little till 9am then as solar comes online it (the force discharge includes solar, so any generation over the force discharge limit, it goes into battery)
So far by 6pm it's dropped to 86 %
Then to 40 by midnight.

So problems seen so far
There is min and max soc in the lilly
Now each one of those Lilly's have min and max do they add up ?, and the inverter has its min and max soc do they add up?

Should I only set the lilly connected to the battery to 20/80 and the one connected to the inverter to 0/100 and the inverter to the same (, inverter can do 100 but lowest is 20%

The charge limit in the esp seem to work well
But the inverter soc max when force charging does not (set it to 70% ) force charge it did it to 100%
This was not 100% of course of the scaling in the lilly

Thought ideas anything better?
Martin

What what work around as the inverter fox h1 will not go below 20% min

On the second one (connected to inverter) yes can set rescale off but does the 80/20 need to be on both Lilly's ?

Ah just set scale off on secondary to inverter and the main max turns off . Nice

Here is my guess of power usage
Without CT clamp (getting a sdm230) fitted Wednesday
This included my char charging that evening
But mostly 0 the SDM will let the inverter charge more and reduce that 2.5kwh waste I see during the day

Well I have turned the scaling off on both Lilly's since I could not reduce the limit or lower limit(losing another 30%) in the inverter
So set limits there and removed scaling and limits and put them on the inverter instead, worked first day like a treat, charged to 70% ( what I put in there and it's going to discharge to 20% ) some time later today,

Well the sdm230 (this is inline power meter one of 2 that fox supports with 485 modbus) fitted today (can not get the CT clamp cable fitted , to far)
This goes into a "Master Slave Network Transceiver RS485 Wireless FSK Module Board 433/868MHz UK" which transceives, the A B across 433 Hz radio link
Enabled and turned off my force discharge
Worked a treat meter at 0 or close to
Picture below
It updates every sec and the inverter alters it out put, it also accounting for a second PV string which is not attached to the first inverter
So very happy
Got some more tidying to do though

Well the SDM is working fine
The export in fixed output was always 1-2 KW a day
Now it's zero (couple of watts but hey)
The remote feed from the SDM using the loralan item works a treat and idiot proof
The feed is 1 sec give or take to reset to 0
Loving it
Going to try a OTA next week
The battery is outside but have glued 2000mgm thick plastic over the top of the battery to protect the top side of the battery, the battery itself is sat on wooden battens
Still some 12v tidying to do
But very good
