Hi All, I wired the two clamp to my 1K GTIL Auto sense, first was reading -neg, then I swapthem directions and know is reading +pos....But..... I disconencted everything at home and just plug a Fan to a wattmeter.... the Fan read was 58watts but GTIL was reading 32-33 This is my preliminar test:

Device wmeter GTIL
Fan 58 32watts
TV 27.6 19watts
SPkrs 45 26watts
PS4 mon 205 100watts

Test was not performed connected the GTIL to a 110 oulet insted of the 220v outlet which is the goal, feed to a 220 outlet.

So my GTIL setup clapms are reading less than actual consupmtion, Should I live with it in that way to not worry about backfeeding ?

Or

Should I set Clamps instead of Series in Parallel to keep the 100A 50mah Any suggestions will be really apreciated.

Cheers!
CG.

IF you are worried about backfeed due to legal aspects you should not use a gtil from the start. This is a fact.

But regarding the readings it is most likely some issue There. It should not be that much. Unfortunately i dont own a gtil so cant for sure tell how it works but other Will in Short :)

507. I answered you on the gtil2 forum. Ill copy it here.
For the fan, if the actual is 58w and inverter is showing 32w, thats because the inverter alway allows the grid to supply a small amount of power. Usually up to 35w max.
Also get rid of the outlet and hardwire the inverter directly to a 240v breaker, this isnt related to your present issue but could prevent future issues

If you didnt have enough solar available, that might explain why you only seen the inverter produce 100w when PS4 was using 200w

Right, the 58w is what your watt meter is showing you? The 32w is what the inverter says its producing? Are you saying that the inverter is showing the grid using 32w when the inverter isnt producing anything?
I never trust the amount the inverter says the grid is using. I use an iotawatt for that. It doesnt affect the inverters ability to fully supply the power the load needs. The inverter will zero out (close to it) the load regardless of what it says the grid is using.

One more question, GTIL will device the load from solar / bat equally to L1 and L2, or per requirements?, at the on both cases will be zero out right ?

Gtil will use solar first then also battery if needed. Load 900w, solar 600w, then 300w comes from battery.
You are using 2 clamps and supplying 120v. This wont work. Using 2 clamps wired in series is only if you are supplying 240v. That might be why you were only supplying 100w of the ps4s load

Im working to finish my wiring to 240, making some space for a new 240 breaker....

Now, I can directly plug battery and solar to the GTIL input poles ?

No. The solar gets wired to the chargecontroller. Charge controller is wired to the Battery. Battery is wired to the Inverter.
