GTIL Autosense with Limiter question

Hi All Experts,

Finally I got my Sun GTIL grid tie inverter with limiter.

Im testing it with out any isolar panel and battery feeding it and.....

I did the serial dual clamp connection and seems to be reading it nicely.

But.... when I have everything disconnected.... I got a reading of 5W from the grid.... is this a default value to avoid to backfeed?

I think I read about this reading value from the grid of 5W, aynone with experience with the Sun GTIL grid tie inverter with limiter that can let me know if Im wrong?

The inverter always allows the grid to supply a small amount of power. When you say everything disconnected what do you mean. The inverter uses ac power to operate so the inverter would supply the power it itself is using and still allow the grid to supply a small amount.

Thanks for your quick response, on my test, I have my kilowat metter down .... so I can't validate that reading of grid consumption is accurate, but the good things is that is reading a bit less that actual W consumption, so is more difficult to backfeed
