Hashing with Batteries!

Have you considered lowering the clock speed and voltage to reduce power consumption. Given your power is 'free', I would consider the benefit being that your miner could run all night, and the hardware would last longer.

I do this to my R9-290x when playing older games. I don't remember the exact figure, but it was impressive, somewhere about 30% loss in performance for 50% less power.

I've fixed tooo many rigs that have been undervolted - in factmy 4 RX580 cards are now completely stock as one failed so went back to std bios just in case it's gets knocked back under warranty. Now mining Raven Coin - 0.014cents per coin, but can mine 100 a day for free :)

Who's your pool with? I tried Hash4Life, but I keep getting:
[16:54:56] Press any key to exit, or sgminer will try again in 15s.
[16:55:12] No servers were found that could be used to get work from.
[16:55:12] Please check the details from the list below of the servers you have input
[16:55:12] Most likely you have input the wrong URL, forgotten to add a port, or have not set up workers

For the command line, I used Hash4Life's autoconfig on their web site, and verified it with their settings. It's the right url and port.

Also, I'm using AMD, so is this line correct:
sgminer -k x16r -o stratum+tcp://hash4.life:3636 -u **** -p c=RVN
Plus, sgminer sure takes awhile to get started. At least 40 seconds to start up after the initial
[16:56:04] Started sgminer 5.5.5-gm-a
[16:56:04] * using Jansson 2.7

Was able to connect using CryptoPool.party. They only have .75% fees (max), paid out every 2hrs, no registration required. I'll let it run for awhile and see what I get.
