I am jacob and I am planning to take welding as my profession I was hoping if any expert here can recommend me a welding helmet which has auto darkening features. In the past I have been using a passive helmet but the work was not tough.
Thanks

Welcome.

I guess you talk about TIG/MIG/MAG/Stick welding? In that case you ended up in the wrong forum though :)

Yes we weld batteries. Thats done with spot welder and at most require protection googles ;)

Personally i would buy a brand name helmet for welding. Ie one that welding companies use. I use Esab helmet personally

My uncle uses the helmet from harbor freight like the one you link and hasn't had any issues. It darkens quick enough and is dark enough to do the job correctly.

However, with that said, always test the new helmet out to make sure it works as intended before doing prolonged welding staring at a mini-sun.

Harbor freight welding helmet all the way!

It works and it's $35. I only infrequently stick weld but it always works when I use it.

Auto darkening makes it so much easier to weld. But the old school helmets are available at HF as well...
