Hi everyone,

After reading and gaining lot of knowledge here, I recently started my new 18650 battery hobby. Ordered lot of stuf from Ali Epxress and started looking for salvaged cells and old e-bike batteries.

I created my own charge and discharge boards with TP4056 Modules and the famous resistance discharge modules. So far I salvaged and tested around 600
Cells. My first project will be 2 e-bike battery. Im planning a 30ah and a small 10ah battery. Already converted my e-bike with an Bafang middrive. Awaiting the cell wraps so that I can rewrap the cells and finally get soldering the cells.

Currently my biggest challenge is bringing the tested cells to the same voltage. The tp4056 cells are not consistent in the Max. Charge voltage. Im getting values ranging from 4.16 to 4.25 volts.

After discharge test my cells have around 3.3 or 3.4 volt left. I prefer to charge them to 3.6v from there. But how? The tp4056 does not support changing the output voltage. I have a couple of buck/boost converters which can be used perhaps?

One day I will start building the 14s powerwall as well. First finalize the small project :).

I went for the 500 watt model. Same dimensions as the 250watt. But with some more spare power left when needed. Controller is limited to 25 amps.
