hello everyone. im just getting into electronics and battery storage i have a keen interest in solar and wind turbines. i made my own turbine. still playing with that. i have a small lockup i have just fitted a solar panel and 12v lighting.

update the wind turbine is working getting 13.9v just after the buck. with a moderate wind. :)

Thanks for the update. More important than voltage is overall power. What are the amps or milli-amps (at 13.9v) are you generating?
dont know tbh. will test it asap. i cannot imagine it produces much as the buck can only handle 2 amp max and thats still working.

Even if it's not much, any power at all is nothing to laugh at, when it's something you made yourself

yes thats true. im looking up how to test the amps. apparently i need to add a resistive load to measure it. im new to all this so it takes me a while to grasp it im only a mechanic lol
