Hello,

I am looking for charge controlleroptions to charge a high voltage 18650 battery bank (350-450V) with the input voltage to the charge controlleraround the same voltage(350-450V). The input would beprovided via a stringof solar panels. Any suggestions are welcome.

Thank You

I am in the early days of investigating this also. Most solar charge controllers for that size pack seem to be PWM and require a much higher input voltage from the solar panels.

An MPPT controller with a boost function would be the solution as your rarely get the full rated voltage out of your solar panels.

The search continues...

Just out of curiosity;
Why are you storing at 350-450V?
What are you going to use the stored power on?

My current inverter works off the 350-450V range which means my current string of solar panels are outputting ~400V (single string, all in series). I would like to avoid re-configuring the panels and simply have a charge controller provide the
