This is really going to become a thing as more 70% modules get sold.
I would totally switch it up if the price came even close to what we could already get cells for.

Model S modules are still a premium price though.
 
The name alone would add an extra 20% to the price I think.

Jahu linked some that worked out to over 4USD s per cell, think each module was nearly $1200-1400USD
 
The modules were $1000USD earlier last year, the higher prices are solely due to the sellers.

I think it would depend on the why of the sale too. A 70% swap out or a wrecked car from a crash could land you with two different types of modules with different age / capacity cells. Pretty sure the sellers know this too.

The ones i have seen in oz were from crashed vehicles, near new condition and ppl wanted about 70-80% of the price of new panos for them.

Tesla isn't the only EV producer - there a plentyful supply of Leaf packs available in the UK, the trick is finding a breaker who is scared of them, and offer to remove it from the donor for them.
