So, now I have a month or two wait to get the board. So, here I sit with lots of sunshine and no way to use it.😭
Yea I have always try to have a backup for everything I buy from "china" I have a Power Jack Inverter and believe me I had all kinds of issues with it. Once I got it repaired I immediately ordered all potential replacement parts. Control boards, MOSFETs, AC charge board, etc.
Fortunately I don't use it a lot only when the power goes out as I run my 4 GTIL and I have 2 spares for those also.
I just recently purchased a Sungold 4000W split phase inverter also to back up the Powerjack. The way I figure it if I have a backup I won't need it. :p
Now that you have had a bad experience with Sungold I will immediately order replacement parts also. Just in case.

Do you still have the reliable inverter perhaps use it to power your most critical needs?

I do, and I will probably try to rig it up. Problem is, this inverter is 72 pounds, so not trivial to take it down to make room for the other inverter (the reliable is nothing, pick it up with one hand). To get this inverter down, I have to take the ABB breaker off the board and get my neighbor to help me take the board down.
So, I will try to figure out a way to put the old inverter up without taking this one down. Not sure I have the room, but...

Is the setup the same as in the photo with reliable inverter? There looks to be a wall on the lefty hand side of the inverter might be space there to hang it.

Yeah, considered doing that today, but then...
WOW, I have to give due where due is due due (Yeah, I said doo doo).
The control board was coming from China, AND coming Fed Ex.
I have not had to best experience with Fed Ex; HOWEVER, the board got here yesterdayo_O!!
It took it longer to get from one place in China to another than to get from China to my house!
Gotta give props to Sungold, they came through, and Fed Ex, they delivered!!
Now I just gotta get it installed (and hope it was the problem), and get this fired back up!!
I am still shocked at how fast it got here, amazing!

Hope it fixes the problem. 9 days? I have had items shipped from the east coast to west coast USA that have taken longer.

The Constant dance of the Electrons. This year I oversized my solar requirements then we had the worst sun days due to fire haze I have ever seen. My Over sized solar did work mostly but I still had to run the Generator twice over the summer. but hey you cannot plan for everything
