Yea I have always try to have a backup for everything I buy from "china" I have a Power Jack Inverter and believe me I had all kinds of issues with it. Once I got it repaired I immediately ordered all potential replacement parts. Control boards, MOSFETs, AC charge board, etc.So, now I have a month or two wait to get the board. So, here I sit with lots of sunshine and no way to use it.
Fortunately I don't use it a lot only when the power goes out as I run my 4 GTIL and I have 2 spares for those also.
I just recently purchased a Sungold 4000W split phase inverter also to back up the Powerjack. The way I figure it if I have a backup I won't need it.
Now that you have had a bad experience with Sungold I will immediately order replacement parts also. Just in case.
