Where is Source, Ground, and Drain on this particular mosfet?

Base = Gate
Collector = Drain
Emitter = Source

The MOSFET has 3 terminals, “gate“, “drain” and “source“, differs from BJT which has “base”, “collector”, and “emitter” terminals. By applying voltage to the gate, you create an electrical field that controls the current flow through the channel between the drain and source, without any current flowing from the gate into the MOSFET itself

Testing them is the same method, though.

I'm considering buying a new iCharger. But I came over a cheaper one, anyone familiar with HOTA H6 Pro?

I'm not sure, I haven't seen those let alone use them. And to be quite honest, I sincerely doubt it can truly output that high of current for any length of time.
Being that the iCharger is right about $100-110, not sure how the Hota is cheaper 🤔

The HOTA H6 Pro link shows $125.70? iCharger X6 is a similar price but then as I admitted, I'm on #3 and maybe a different brand will hold up longer?

Thank you Korishan. 😊 Exactly what I was looking for.

At least in my browser these prices shows up inclusive shipping:

HOTA H6 Pro shows $82

HOTA T8 shows $44

ICharger S6 shows $145

ICharger X6 shows $135

I consider the HOTA T8 if it has regenerative discharge, but that was hard to tell when reading the specs.
It says: Discharge Power
0.1-22A@650W Recyle External

Is this regenerative discharge?

I didn't manage to set the CC to English
Open in a new window, don't watch from the forum. You'll get all the controls that way.

Turn on (Red Arrow) and go to settings (Green Arrow), then Annotations/CC, select language

I have no idea, tbh. It sounds like it. Maybe check out reviews of the device. I'm sure there are some videos of the functions out there.

Thanks, I did that but it didn't help. Maybe something is wrong.

I've searched for a review but not so many of the HOTA T8 exist, and the review I found didn't show any regenerative discharge.

Yes, thank you.
I wonder if HOTA T8 has regenerative discharge?
I don't see it in the description and because it's listed in the other one, I would assume they'd list it if it was a feature.
I don't bother with regenerative discharge with the iCharger because the 30a 'regular' discharge is enough to bring down my 260ah packs within 4-5'ish hrs, which is fast enough for my process. I think it get's down to how fast do you need to do things.

Well, I ordered one HOTA T8, it was relatively cheap, just $44. I think I can try to use the recycle external discharge mode for bringing my 260ah packs down.

Yes, that was exactly what I was thinking as well Offgridinthecity. It get's down to how fast do you need to do things, and I don't have to do things so fast.
