Hi guys

I was looking around and read about MCM.
Problem is theres very little info about and what Testers and Chargers, etc are compatiable.

and Mimium equipment requirements.

I purchased one of the Megacell chargers to use with the MCM and MCM is very very slow to use and did not work correctly most of the time because everything is over wifi. The charger also wrecked it self during the OTA wifi update. I was told to send it back, at my cost, for repair and was offered very little support on fixing the unit my self. I would recommend waiting until the MCM and MCC have gone through proper iterations before investing in one.
 
Have you tried flashing the ESP8266 using the USB port? Worst case you need to flash a empty bin with the boot loader, then you should be able to flash the bin from Alex. If all of this is new and you have no clue what I am referring to best send the unit back, or find a friend who knows how to flash an ESP8266.
 
Yeah, tried that. Alex also would not send me the bin file. I only had the newest version. I ened up sending it back and got the mc3000.
 
I had a similar experience. I wanted to wall mount the charger so I asked Alex for the cad model of the bottom half of the enclosure. He refused. I offered to supply him with my cad files for other charger customer to use for the same application. Again refused. Ended up reverse engineering the bottom 1/2 of the enclosure with a X5 times the effort.
I understand protecting IP, but come on, there are limits!
