JK-B2A24S Active Balancer Password Not Working

Hi guys, sorry for the question but i searched everywhere and can't find help. I have a JK-B2A24S BMS and i'm having trouble with the app.
I can connect the app to the bms, see each cell value and set the name and password. But when i try to acess the parameter setting it rejects the password i just set! It rejects any password, i've tried the most obvious ones. Does anyone knows if the password for changing the parameters is different?
I'm running on android 10 with the latest app version, the results are the same in android 9 and the older versions of the app.

Hey there. Did you try the default password of "1234" on the step that's failing even though I know you set a different password prior? I'm curious to see if that would work.

Hello, I've tried 1234, 0000 all the way to 9999 (in increments of 1000 of course), 001-009, i've tried setting the new password with letters, no result. In attachement are prints of the steps i take. You can see i can acess the app, see the values, change things in the Control tab

one of the other threads has someone that was successfull with 123456 - ymmv

Thank you so much! I started trying other bms and apps passwords, and 123456 worked like a charm! To think i just had to add 56 (facepalm).

i have an older version it uses 123456 or 000000.Ithink i changed it to the zeros.It is 3 years old now do not use it as my cells are close enough for me.
